I'm super excited to be with you this week because Nicholas Wilton has opened the doors for his Creative Visionary Program enrollment this week. As you all know I'm a huge advocate for members of the Artists in Business community to join his Creative Visionary Program to further refine, enhance and deeply connect with your purpose behind your art.

Now the biggest misconception about Nick's program is that it is just for fine artists, this is not actually true. I'm a dancer, choreographer, and writer myself and this program has helped me immensely already take my work to a new level. I was also lucky enough to sit down with 3 artists who have been members of and have taken Nick's Creative Visionary Program, who have also taken my Profit Canvas course. As many of you know I am offering every artist in the Artists in Business community who enrolls in Creative Visionary this week a bonus gift of enrollment in the Profit Canvas course, which has a $2000 value entirely free of charge. The reason is because these 2 programs will, no question, help you take your business to the next level of growth. Artists, I cannot wait to hear your thoughts on this episode and to see you on the other side.

Michael Wilson is a coach for creatives, a portrait photographer, and a theater educator. His company Man Question uses theater to re-imagine what it means to be a man. His coaching and photography challenge people to claim previously silenced parts of themselves for power and joy. Artists, I can promise you this discussion is one that will inspire you in all the right ways if you're ever feeling stuck in your art. I cannot wait for you to give this a listen.

The theme that I want to focus on for today in particular as we enter the month of February in the year 2018 is one of my favorite topics. It goes straight to the heart and comes directly from the heart. It allows for you to really share whats in your heart with those you're meant to serve in your business with your art. So the biggest question that comes up right around this time of year is how do I deal with my own resistance around growing my business? It is one of the challenging times of the year where in January and leading into February everyone starts to feel defeated. No matter what kind of success you're having, no matter what kind of leaps you've made in your business. For whatever reason, this time of year makes it hard to see the progress your making and it makes it all the more tempting and seductive to step away. You say hold on a second I need to take some time out to figure out what's happening. You stop to take care of yourself which, of course, is important at all times but what ends up happening in that space at this time of year, in particular, is an inclination to put the most important parts of your business on hold because they're so challenging. For several years I went through this and every single year I would say to myself how in the world am I going to stop doing this? How am I going to stop stopping myself? Artists if this is something that you relate to you then this episode is for you.

Today I have a couple of questions that popped up in the Artists in Business Facebook group. These questions coincided with each and are the perfect questions for me to be addressing on a day like today. The reason I say that is because these questions have to do with finding, discovering, connecting with and then finding more of your ideal clients in your business with your art. The reason that this is the perfect day to be looking at this is that we are in the month of February. Since this is the second month of the year there are 2 very special elements about this month that every Artist in Business should be looking at and taking into consideration. The first is that it is the month after January and January is historically one of the toughest months of the year for business growth. We've just come out of the holidays where people were spending, receiving, giving, taking time out to spend time with their families and friends. It is a wildly exciting time of the year where people spend a lot and where people give and receive. Then January is the month where everybody works to get back on track.

I have a lot of artists you think February is just the worst month, sometimes even worst then January. If you are thinking that you are missing a serious note about February that could open the biggest opportunity for you to jump-start year and make up for any loss you had in January. Now artists if this is something you relate to then this episode is for you.
