Shawlini Manjunath-Holbrook moved to New York City after graduating from the University of Georgia, and has since appeared in the popular dark comedy, FX's Louie, USA's Falling Water and in a new webseries, Underground Notes.
Shawlini has also been in network TV commercials, and plays the voice of a character in Grand Theft Auto. And if you caught the widely viewed video, Casting Call: The Project you'll see her and several other actresses addressing the frustratingly sexist way women’s roles are often advertised in casting calls.
This is an inspiring and uplifting discussion about how women can take control of their businesses by embracing exactly who you are and sharing that with those who can help you grow and expand your vision one small step at a time.
